Bed Feng Shui: Unfavourable Positions
For bed Feng Shui, here are the positions that cause lack of sleep and poor health:
1.The end of your bed should not face the door. This position is negative because the flow of chi energy will disrupt your sleep.
2.Your bed should not be placed on the same wall as your door because that will also disrupt your sleep because of the chi energy.
3.Your bed should not be placed under the window because different energies will not give you a peaceful rest.
4.If your door is facing the window, this creates a wind tunnel. If the bed is placed in the wind tunnel, you will be unable to sleep deeply.
Feng Shui Furniture Placement
Feng Shui furniture placement should start from selecting the right furniture for each corner. Firstly you should choose the furniture and decorations that correspond to the particular element of the direction. After that, you can place the furniture in a way which will be described further on.
If you don’t know the directions of your home, you can find it out by following instructions in this article under the second step.
Here are the colors, elements, symbols and meanings of each direction:
- In the southern corner of your home you should place fire element. This could be candles, fireplace, red color, light and other symbols of this element. This corner represents fame. You can place the statues of horses here to bring more fame to you.
Feng Shui Principle
By far the most important Feng Shui principle is the theory of yin and yang. Yin and yang basically means the polarity of the opposites – you cannot have one without the other.
Every downside has an upside as every upside has the downside; There are two sides of every coin; Every problem has a solution; Every material thing started with an idea. As you see, there are two sides of everything and these polarities in Feng Shui are called yin and yang.
Everything also has its cycle – night replaces day and winter replaces summer, happiness replaces sadness and winnings replace losses. There is the birth and then death follows. This shows that yin and yang are separate, but they are still connected to each other. One could not exist without the other.
Feng Shui Life Balance
Feng Shui teaches the art of life balance by harmonizing the energies in your home. Some of the fundamentals of this art entirely cover the balance of life, such as the principle of yin and yang.
You can achieve the balance in life if you harmonize the energies in your home and if you select a good house direction.
Apart from harmonizing energies, you should also strive to become a better person by controlling your emotions and limiting the outbursts of negativity. This will also help you use Feng Shui in a more powerful way, because Feng Shui only works if the person who uses it is emotionally balanced.
